About Us

ABOUT US

PACES Inc is a nonprofit organization providing educational programs targeting scholars from low-income families in grades 5 through 8. We will focus primarily on scholars in 5th grade and middle school youths. Statistics show the middle school years are the most difficult time in a child’s educational phase. This is one of the best times to support social growth and provide assistance with retention/mastery of skills in education, which will lead to a success in higher grades and college.

Our goal is to foster a commitment to young people and their parents to promote academic achievement, encourage confidence, and provide strategies for scholars to reach their full potential.

VISION:

Our goal is to see impoverished scholars successfully finish high school and enter college or a career of their choosing. We know that all scholars have the potential to be successful regardless of their parental income status. PACES Inc. will provide parents and scholars with educational services through mentorship, tutoring, camps, parental education, and other academic programs. The three pillars of our organization include:

  • Academic Instruction through one-on-one and small group structures.
  • Parental Involvement to provide for a shared system of support.
  • SEL (Social Emotional Learning) to strengthen character building.
